About Us

The Katy Holmes Trust is a registered charity based in Preston, Lancashire dedicated to funding paediatric brain tumour research in memory of beautiful 10 year old Katy Holmes. Katy sadly lost her life after only a 3 month battle to a brain tumour in Jan 2012.

Brain tumours are the BIGGEST CANCER KILLER of children in the UK and adults under 40 overtaking Leukaemia.

Nobody knows what causes brain tumours.

Currently brain tumour researcher achieves only 0.7% of cancer research spending in the UK

Katy's tumour - DIPG - has the same treatment methods and survival rates as it did over 40 years ago.

All of us here at the Katy Holmes Trust work tirelessly to provide fun filled events that everyone would enjoy in an effort to spread the word about brain tumours and to raise as much money as possible to fund research and find that cure.

Please visit our website and meet our wonderful team! You will see that we have been blessed with 2 wonderful Patrons who are just as dedicated to finding that cure and helping save lives, Clarke Carlisle and Russell Watson!

We need your help though, please get in touch!
